If you like your home comforts, stay in one of our lakeside chalets

Our chalets are fully equipped to a high standard with modern facilities. There are 5 chalets which are situated along one side of the Grande Lake. Each chalet has it's own private garden and decking area where you can have your private barbecue, fish from your own private peg, or just sit in the sun with a nice bottle of crisp French wine. All chalets are self-contained with modern facilities and sleep up to six comfortably. Only a short walk away from your chalet the path leads to the village.
Please note pets are not allowed and for safety reasons smoking inside chalet's is strictly forbidden.

Ideal base for a touring holiday in France

We have large terraced pitches divided by mature hedges and all pitches are equipped with electric hook-ups.

We know how important this is when planning a road trip.
Le Malidor Camping and Leisure Park is just 4 hours drive from Calais, 2 hours from Caen so is ideally situated for your first nights stop.

The touring park is set on three levels. Each pitch is spacious and has its own hedgerow and electric hook-up giving you privacy making sure you relax and enjoy your holiday. Large units are accepted.
All pitches are within easy distance from the toilet and fully equipped shower block and washing facilities.
Please note, pets are allowed but only under close supervision. Dogs must be on a lead at all times around the Park.

Motorcyclists are most welcome and secure parking is available.

Onsite facilities include:

Restaurant, fast food, bar, entertainment, swimming pool, mini golf, boule court, 3 fishing lakes. Function hall for weddings/celebrations.

There are a number of facilities to enjoy ensuring there is something for all ages,. Swimming, fishing, mini golf, adventure playground, pony rides, French boule, and beautiful walks around the lakes.

There is a restaurant/clubhouse with food and drinks, darts, pool table, cable TV and outside BBQ garden.

We also have a function hall catering for up to 60 people, ideal for group booking for meetings or private parties. When booking the hall we also include the Beer garden and BBQ area.

The Mini Golf course is set beside the Cafe/Bar and the Swimming Pool and offers an excellent opportunity for an Anglo French Challenge.

The swimming pool is always within sight of our outdoor seating area to allow you to keep a close watch on the children. It is also located close to the Cafe/Bar where they can top up with liquids on those long hot summer days,.. The Cafe also stocks a selection of English products known to the children to make them a little more comfortable.

For the Anglers in the family

Set in 9 acres of tranquil woodland our three private fishing lakes have a variety of fish to suit all abilities.

Free fishing when you book a chalet.
If you are an amateur or experienced fisherman, or just want to try your hand at the ancient art of angling, our three private lakes, nestled amongst the trees, provide some of the best fishing in the Pays de Loire region.

The three lakes on the park are well stocked with fish.
The main lake is approximately three acres in size and if you set your stall up right be it for the 'big un' or to bag up, a good days fishing is there to be enjoyed. The main lake has its own fishing platforms to fish from and they circle a small island. The main lake is about three acres in size and holds mirror carp and common carp up to 30lb, grass carp up to 20lb and pike up to 20lb. There is a good head off carp between 5lb and 10lb. Other fish include crucian carp, bream, roach and perch. The chalets are situated around the top end of the main lake and from each chalet you can fish from your own private platform. Fishing on the opposite bank from the chalets is not allowed. For the serious fisherman this site is a must with some great carp up to 35lb.

The two small lakes are very active making them ideal for beginners or children. Well stocked, these lakes are perfect for teaching youngsters to fish and if you want to have a bagging up session.

If you are staying on the touring pitch the price for fishing is 7.50 € for two rods per day but a weekly rate can be arranged. Fishing is allowed day and night.

Merveilleux environnements et excellents emplacements pour les plaisirs et les divertissements. Mini golf, jeu de fléchettes, piscine, soirées musicales et encore plus. Vous y trouverez des « Petits coins » reculés pour pêcher autour de nos trois lacs situés dans un environnement tranquille. La pêche principale est la pêche à la carpe, particulièrement la carpe « Général », qui a été vu mais jamais prise.

The local area abounds with historic sites from the medieval town of Domfront to the WW2 Battle lines at Falaise.

The City of the 3 Castles, Lassay-Les-Chateau where The Bar Victor Hugo serves the finest Irish Coffee you ever tasted...

Bagnoles 15mins from Le Malidor is the jewel in the crown of the entire area,. a beautiful lake surrounded by an immense range of flowers and shrubs,. swans and ducks, pedaloes, fountains and a Casino... The town itself is littered with small Cafes and Bars, shops of all kinds and has a local Super "U" Supermarket. The centre of this small town has a fountain surrounded by Cafes/Bars, Restaurants etc. and an amazing Church of glistening white. This is a must see, both in daytime and when lit up in the evening. Recommended Restaurants are the Cafe De Paris and Le Terrace, both are inexpensive and the food is good. Local wines from Super "U" are on average 75% cheaper than the UK and a bottle of Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey is around 13€....

Le Mans
The famous Le Mans race circuit is just 60km from us and at "legal" speeds just a 40 minute easy drive. We are a perfect location if you’re on your way to an event.
