Bain Valley Fisheries is a complex of 7 mature
lakes in rural Lincolnshire ideal for all anglers. Four of the lakes are carp lakes, 2 are
mixed carp and coarse fishing and one is a trout lake.
The carp go to 36lb
The fishery is open all year and night fishing is
allowed but must be booked in advance.
Summer: 6am - Dusk Winter: Dawn til Dusk
Trout fishing is take 2 or 4 fish, then catch and release.
For fishing breaks we have a Caravan Club CL with electric hook-ups
- and a caravan rally field available (the rally organiser can have
free electric).

Spitfire
 Spitfire is about 2 acres in size with 16 pegs on each. Spitfire is
up to 13ft deep and is stocked with Mirror to 22lb Common,
Crucian and Ghost Carp as well as Tench (to 6ib), Rudd, Roach and
Ide. |

Hurricane
 Hurricane is approximately 2 acres in size, up to 7ft deep with 16
pegs on each side and is stocked with Mirror and Common Carp, Tench
(to 7lb), Rudd, Roach and Bream.

Lancaster
 Lancaster lake is presently a syndicate specimen lake.

Wellington
 Wellington covers 16 acres of which 5 acres are woodland and is
stocked with Bream, Tench and Carp. The best fish so far is a Common
Carp at 35 1/2lb.

Stirling
 Stirling
lake is 10 acres, the largest pleasure / match lake with 40 pegs.
Stirling is well stocked with Common, Mirror and Ghost Carp up to
28lb, Tench to 7lb, Bream and Perch to 3lb |

Halifax
 Halifax covers 8 acres and has 35 pegs. Carp are the main species in
this lake with very high numbers averaging 6lb. There is also a good
head of doubles and specimen carp to over 28lb. Other fish include
Mirror and Common carp, Tench to 4lb, Rudd and Roach. |

Mosquito
 Mosquito is the Trout lake and is stocked with Rainbows and Browns
to 8 1/2lb and has a good head of Blue Trout which so far no one has
managed to catch! Will you be the first? |

 Directions
Tattershall Thorpe is situated just off the A153 on the B1192
Tattershall/Coningsby to Woodhall Spa. Once in Tattershall Thorpe
turn right just after the Blue Bell Inn onto Chapel Lane and follow
the road to the second bend, North Road Farm and Bain Valley
Fisheries is on the corner.
