Many of the waters hold double figure carp and some have specimen carp. If you do need to buy extra tackle while your on holiday you will not have to exchange your money to get it. You also speak the same lingo so no need for sign language. Usually the guide will take care of licensing, tackle, transport and bait. Etang du Manoir is a peaceful 4 -1/2 acre lake situated in the tranquil town of Mauron in the Brittany region of France, surrounded by 6 acres of woodland, giving you the angler plenty of peace and privacy. Suited for all anglers the lake has 9 swims spread around the lake with an island in the middle. In addition to the original resident carp, weighing in at 30lb, in December 2009 we introduced 100 Carp ranging between 20lb to 40lb with the average weight into the mid 20s and December 2010 another 7 specimen carp weighing in at 35lb to 41lb.
