At Dream River Fishing we offer
anglers self catering Fishing Holidays in Spain in our Fishermans
Cottage with the option of Camping by the riverside with use of a
Caravan.
This is rare opportunity for anglers looking for catfish and carp
fishing holidays in Spain to fish the river Ebro and stay in
comfortable self catering accommodation with private swims on site,
or to sleep in a tent beside the river Ebro waiting for that 'catch
of a lifetime'.
We can accommodate groups of up to 6 fishermen sharing the Cottage
and Camping and short breaks are available.
Experienced catfish guides are available to take you on the river
Ebro fishing and we can arrange catfish fishing tours, boat hire,
transfers to other swims, tackle hire, bait and fishing licences.
We are also arranging "Extreme Fishing Holidays" with a professional
guide who will spend his days and nights with you, teaching the
skills of catfishing. see below
Dream River Fishing is
perfect for a family fishing holiday.
 Last month, April 2012, our daughter, hubby and grandson came to us
for a break. It was their first time here and they absolutely loved
it.
Archie, our 3 year old grandson went fly fishing his own rod and
was over the moon when he caught a couple of tiddlers. (he didn't
go alone of course, we were all watching him)
While my daughter did a bit sunbathing (a rare thing in the UK)
hubby Adam got to do some fishing, something he says he hasn't done
since he was a kid.
All in all they had a fantastic time, loved the peacefulness,
scenery and weather and will soon be back. |

Accommodation
Fishermans Cottage |
|
Fishermans Cottage, shown on the left, is our self catering accommodation
and can sleep up to 3 people. The cottage is situated
approximately 50 metres from the river Ebro and renting the cottage
give you exclusive use of up
to 3 swims.
Sheets, blankets and bed linen are provided, along
with kitchen linen and utensils. Electric
radiators for winter and mosquito nets and fans for summer are also
provided. Outside
is a large patio with BBQ and cooking area.
On a fishing holiday staying in Fishermans Cottage you can spend your days and nights fishing from the riverbank and be
close enough to your accommodation to make a drink, grab a sandwich
or just take a rest.
Our closest jetty is lit for night fishing.
From the jetty you can jump straight into a boat to
explore the river Ebro for potential catfish holding areas.

Camping with the use of Caravan |

 For
a cheap fishing holiday in Spain, fishing the river Ebro for huge
catfish and carp, if booking our Cottage we offer camping in a 4 man tent, with the use of a
caravan.
With our camping option this enables up to 6 anglers to travel together and
share the cottage, swims and camping facilities.
Campers have the use of a caravan in the grounds for cooking, storing
food, washing dishes, eating and keeping warm. Outside is a large
barbecue and table and chairs.

'Extreme
fishing holidays'
For a fishing experience you will never forget, book an 'Extreme
Fishing Holiday'.
We are taking bookings
for October - November.
At a price of only 90 euro per person per day you will spend your days /
nights with a professional guide who will teach you all the skills
of catfishing.
If a group of you book, or a fishing club, then this experience
could be shared with members rotating with 3 anglers per time slot.
If your on your own this is not a problem as we can put you together
with other fishermen - this means sharing the accommodation and
making new friends.

The River Ebro in Spain is known by anglers
worldwide for its huge, hard fighting wild carp and catfish. Catches
of Specimen Carp of 40lb to 50lb plus and Specimen Catfish of 100lb
plus are considered the norm from the river Ebro.
So, if you want to catch giant catfish of up to 220lb and do it in
the natural and beautiful part of the river Ebro, this location is
perfect. Here you will not find catfish farms, where 20 or more fish
are waiting for their feed at 10'clock in the morning, when the
owner comes with a sack of pellets. No, the catfish in Lower Ebro
don't think that all good things come from the sky.
Here at Dream River Fishing you will find some of the biggest, hard
fighting, wild catfish fishing in Spain and in this part of the
river, from Amposta to Tivenys, you have to fight with truly wild
"animals" who have lived in the virgin high stream river and have
never been caught.
Whether your fishing on your own or together with your friends, you
must first find the right place at the right time. If you are
fishing with a guide he will put you in the right place. This can be
big holes under the banks or underwater hills in the middle of the
river. You cast your bait and wait for the take, which can be
surprisingly quick at times. Then the action starts.
The fight can take longer than half an hour and sometimes you go
down stream more than a mile with the fish on the line before you
have the chance to land it. It can be the greatest adventure of your
life.
If you start early you have the chance for 5 or 6 catfish baits and
2 or 3 fish in the boat per day and when your arms ache after
fighting with the whiskered monsters, you can relax on the jetty and
try your luck for a 50lb carp.
