Etang du Manoir is a peaceful 4 -1/2 acre lake situated in the tranquil town of Mauron in the Brittany region of France.

The lake is surrounded by 6 acres of woodland, giving you the angler plenty of peace and privacy.
Suited for all anglers, the lake has a lot to offer for individuals or parties of up to 6 people. There are 9 swims spread around the lake with an island in the middle.

Etang du Manoir lake was stocked in December 2009 with 100 carp ranging between 20lb to 40lb with the average weight into the mid 20s. The original carp have showed good weights as well, with 2 gracing the landing, weighing in at 30lb. The carp were put on a generous feeding program throughout 2010 and it shows in the fight that they give. . . . it is second to none.

In December 2010 we introduced 7 more specimen carp weighing in at 35lb to 41lb.

carp caught on fishing holiday in France at Etang du Manoir Ian and James from Creative Baits have been over for a weeks fishing and between them they managed to catch over 1000lb of fish. The biggest was 39lb, just one of the six 'thirties' they caught. Others varied between 34lb and 38lb.

Mobile Home
If you need the toilet, a wash or a brew up - next to the lake there is a mobile home fully equipped with flushing toilet, shower and a kitchen.

Manoir town is only 2 minutes up the road where you will find shops, bars and the local supermarket.

Bait is available but please advise at time of booking. We also have a selection of terminal tackle available should you forget anything.

Our Fishing Packages

Drive and Survive package is as it says. You bring your own fishing tackle and provide your own sleeping arrangements.

Food - provide your own or food packages are available for £100 per week which includes breakfast and evening meals.

On our airport package holiday,

Fly 'n' Fish

we will pick you up from Dinard Airport, Brittany and drive you to our lake. You will be supplied with everything you need to catch carp on your fishing holiday. (except sleeping bag and bait )
