World Dab Fishing Championships
Sunday 29th January 2012
Compete to become the 2012 World Dab Fishing
Champion. The open, in Kent, is organised by Dungeness Anglers
Association and is an RNLI Fundraiser. Sponsored by TRONIXPRO and
with the support of Total Sea Fishing, Boat Fishing and Sea Angler
Magazines.
Last year Dungeness Anglers Association raised £2,500 and all of the
£10 entry fee was donated to the RNLI. There will also be a casting
clinic and an auction with the opportunity through online bidding to
fish the roving competition with a magazine star. 100
per cent of the pools are paid out.

World Catfish Classic 2012
23rd - 25th May 2012
£50,000 prize table for competitors to
compete for.
The World Catfish Classic event founded by Ross Honey will take
place on the River Ebro, Spain, with top catfish anglers competing
for the Title of World Catfish Classic Champions 2012.
The first World Catfish Classic proved to be a big success with a
catfish of over 200 lbs and numerous100 lbs+ catfish caught. The
Americans lead the event thoughout, right up to the last 90 minutes
when the Dutch Pair, Arnout Terlouw and Ron Beugelink came from zero
to hero to clinch the event ,winning by just over 1lb, with all of
the fish being caught on the last day, .
Berkley are the event title sponsor with PVTV, Black Cat, Rod Box
and Carplove as Zone Sponsors. Reuben Heaton are the official scales
sponsor and there are a large selection of support sponsors.
