Fishing holidays in England, Northamptonshire at Foxhall Farmhouse bed and breakfast interior view Foxhall Farmhouse is a sixteenth century farmhouse located in the village of Charwelton in Northamptonshire. An ideal bed and breakfast accommodation for anglers as there are lots of local fisheries in the area and these are highly recommended by the fishing folk that come and stay with us from all over the country. We have extensive off road parking and as fishermen like to be out early fishing we can do early breakfasts, packed lunches or whatever you prefer. The rooms are in a separate annexe to the house with its own front door and fridge and microwave facility. We are only 100 yards from a friendly reasonably priced pub where you can relax, have a drink and talk about the 'one that got away'.

Accommodation:

Accommodation at Foxhall Farmhouse B&B is a perfect base for anglers visiting the many fisheries in Northamptonshire. Our bed and breakfast accommodation is also ideal for golfers with Hellidon Lakes Golf Course not far away.

Our accommodation is in a separate annex attached to the farmhouse and guests have their own private entrance which opens onto a small courtyard.

We have three rooms providing comfortable accommodation for up to 5 guests. Overlooking the courtyard and garden the bedrooms consists of:-

1 double room, 1 twin room and 1 single room.

All rooms are non-smoking and each room has a television and tea and coffee making facilities.

Boddington Reservoir - 2 miles

Toft Fisheries at Dunchurch 10 miles

Dog Lane Fisheries at Napton 6 miles

and a host more fisheries in the area

Boddington Reservoir is a 65 acre venue stocked with carp, bream, roach, perch, tench and pike. A popular fishery for leisure and match anglers with around 120 pegs.
Research on the www. about Boddington Reservoir reveals that catches of 100 lbs to 150lbs are regular and the pike go to 40lb plus. In 2005 a 50 year old angler broke the world record by catching 539lb of fish during a six hour fishing match at Boddington Reservoir.

Dog Lane Fisheries A 3 lakes fishery with something for everyone. Mixed fishing in Willow and Widgeon Pool and for big carp anglers the Grebe Lake holds carp to 40lb.
