"Grasslands" is
situated 5 miles east of King's Lynn and represents one of the best
rural locations in the heart of Norfolk. The site has two small
lakes, trees and open pasture and is surrounded by the gentle fields
and hills of East Anglia. Be warned, time really does stand still
here!
Nearby are world class bird reserves at Titchwell (Bill Oddie's favourite),
Snettisham and Blakeney; sailing from Brancaster Staithe and
Hunstanton; the salt marshes of North Norfolk and seal watching from
Morston Quay; beautiful sandy beaches at Brancaster, Old Hunstanton
and Hunstanton. And… we haven't mentioned the Queen's Estate at
Sandringham (5 miles), Thomas Cokes' Holkham Hall (15 miles) and
Robert Walpole's Houghton Hall (10 miles). We'll have to stop now,
otherwise you'll think it's too good to be true!

Specimen
Lake at Grasslands is our syndicate lake and
contains Carp to over 30lb and English Catfish to over 50lb.
Specimen lake is available to guests staying on the site or lodge
owners, to fish along side the night fishing syndicate.
Heron Pool is a pleasant
pond with an island and stocked with Carp, Tench and Bream. If this does not meet your requirements,
Chris is a leading Fisheries Consultant in the area and can offer
you tickets to some of the best fishing available.

fisheries in the Kings Lynn area and can give our holiday makers the
opportunity to fish waters away from the main site.
We are able to create an angling holiday to suit your requirements,

The Lodge accommodation
Two Lodge accommodations with balconies overlooking Heron Pool.
Each lodge has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, a full bathroom
complete with an over-bath shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with
a fridge / freezer, microwave, gas oven and gas 4 ring hob, kettle,
toaster, ample crockery, glasses, and cutlery. Many cooking utensils
if home cooking is your thing. The living area is furnished with a
three piece suite, coffee table, flat screen TV attached to a freeview
satellite system and DVD player. For the warmer days chill out using
the patio furniture and a triple burner gas barbeque, exclusively for
your use, on the balcony.
Many of our clients have found our lodge
accommodation excellent, comfortable and sensibly priced and after
their first stay with us have immediately booked again, one couple
ended up taking four holidays in one year.

Camping & Caravanning Club CL Holidays
We offer 5 individual pitches with
electric hook-ups adjacent to our day ticket fishery 'Heron Pool'
We are very pleased to introduce our 'Camping and Caravanning Club'
members CS at our Grasslands site.
The site is surrounded by hedging and is secure with five individual
pitches for caravans and a level rally site suitable for up to 20
caravans if required. It has chemical disposal facilities, mains
water supply and toilet. The entrance gate is locked at night.
Please note: Because of the deep water lakes, the site is not
suitable for children under 10 or pets.

Fishing information
Fishing onsite and Chris is a leading
Fisheries Consultant in the area and can offer you tickets to some
of the best fishing available.
HERON POOL is a small purpose
built 3/4 acre fishery adjacent to the Caravan and Camping site and
Lodges. Heron pool contains Carp to mid double figures, Tench to
6lb, and Bream to 3lb. A great little fun fishery suitable for pole,
feeder or leger tactics. In the evening the Carp are willing to
accept floaters for some real action. With only 7 swims on the water
the fishery is never crowded with anglers.
Primarily, the fishery is an integral part of our 'Camping &
Caravanning Club CL', giving our guests a chance to fish during
their stay with us.
The SPECIMEN LAKE is a well
established big fish water containing Carp to over 30lb, English
Catfish to over 50lb, Tench to over 8lb. This lake is not only for
the big fish boys, great fun can be had on the float or tip with
smaller Carp, Tench and 'kittens', quality Roach and Rudd are also
available.
