Welcome to Lough Bawn House
-
Fishing Holiday Accommodation in Ireland
Lough Bawn House is a beautiful family home in County
Westmeath, an area of Ireland renowned for its many lakes teeming
with fresh water fish, set in a gentle landscape of farmland and
rolling hills. Nestling above Lough Bane, reputed to have the
clearest water in Ireland, Lough Bawn House has stunning views
across the lake and woodland.
The imposing country house has been in the same family since it was
built in the 1800s. It has been lovingly restored and updated by the
current owner, Verity, who offers B&B accommodation for up to 6
guests in three fine double/twin rooms
Throughout the seasons this is a serene and welcoming place in which
to unwind, with castles and gardens to visit nearby, horse racing,
music festivals and golf courses and of course the fantastic
fishing. At the end of the day there is usually a log fire in the
guest drawing room at Lough Bawn House.
