The Fishery
Fent Lakes, originally know as Bullington Fisheries, is located approximately 10 miles North East of Lincoln and 8.5 miles South of Market Rasen in Lincolnshire.
The fishery is made up of three ponds covering an area of 6 acres. Originally created by Mr T. Fenton more than 25 years ago as trout waters known as Claybridge Trout Fishery, he later turned them into coarse fishing waters.
17 years later, due to Mr. Fenton's poor health the fishery was closed. Now under the management of Mr. Fenton's son, Mr A. Fenton, the fishery has re-opened to the public.
Fent Lakes is a three lake day ticket and membership fishery in Lincolnshire for pleasure, carp and match fishing.
The Lakes
Theo, Phoenix and Oakley
At present two of the lakes are open, Theo and Oakley. Lake Phoenix is being prepared for opening..
Lake Oakley is mainly a silver fish water with species including Rudd, Roach, Bream, Tench, Chub and Perch.
Lake Theo is the larger of the two lakes and is a mixed water with a variety of Carp species and silver fish.
Lake Theo and Oakley hold a good stock of mixed fish in pristine condition inluding Tench, Bream and Rudd.
Lake Phoenix is to be opened as a match fishing water and lake for families with children under 12.
At approximately one and a half acres in size with a depth up to 8 feet, Lake Phoenix will include plenty of carp to guarantee catches for match anglers and children.

Fent Lakes are home to six species of carp, Mirror, Common, Ghost, Leather, Grass and Crucian Carp
Other coarse fish include Bream, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Chub, Ide, Perch and a few Gudgeon.
