Lavender Hall Fishery is located in the
midlands and consists of five well stocked lakes for pleasure, match
and specimen carp fishing.
The specimen lake is home to carp up to 29lb, the other four lakes
have a variety of coarse fish including common, mirror and ghost
carp, crucian carp, F1, roach, rudd, tench, skimmers and perch
All anglers are welcome and disabled anglers have a choice of waters
with Bens, Dragon and Oak lakes each having pegs with disabled
access.
There is plenty of car parking on-site and the above three lakes
have parking space behind every disabled peg.
On site is a cafe with a selection of snacks and hot and cold food
served daily. Toilet facilities for ladies, gents and disabled
persons are located in the cafe.
A range of tackle and bait is available from the on-site tackle
shop, open 7 days a week.
Day Tickets must be purchased from the tackle shop BEFORE fishing
Club matches can be booked at Lavender Hall Fishery and Open matches
are regularly held, usually taking place on Wednesdays and
Saturdays.
The Lakes
Dragon Lake
22 pegs - 2 have disabled access, plus a large training platform
with disabled access
carp to 8lb, crucian carp, F1, roach, rudd, skimmers and perch
Disabled anglers can park their cars near to the entrance road pegs
Bens Lake
20 pegs - 8 disabled access
carp to 15lb, mirror, common and ghost, roach, rudd and perch
Near to the car park so suitable for disabled anglers
Good lake for feeder, pole or waggler fishing.
Oak Lake
30 pegs - 1 disabled access
carp to 8lb, tench 4lb to 5lbs, perch
Brook Lake
22 pegs
common, mirror and ghost carp to double figures, tench to 6lb,
roach, rudd, perch
Station Lake - Specimen Carp Lake
11 pegs
carp to 29lb, mirrors, commons, ghost and leather carp
