The Channel Islands are a group of islands
located in the English Channel between the south coast of
England and the north coast of France. The largest of the
Channel Islands is Jersey and the inhabited islands are;
Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark, Herm, Jethou and Brecqhou.
All styles of fishing are catered for from family fishing in
the local harbours for mullet to boat fishing for the larger
fish species.
Anglers on a fishing holiday in the Channel Islands can expect
some great sport catching a wide varierty of fish species in
crystal clear waters.
Anglers are spoilt for choice when it comes to where to fish
from - do they choose a bit of beach fishing from one of the
magnificent sandy beaches or rocky areas around the islands
noted for excellent sport fishing spinning for bass.
Maybe try a few hours boat fishing for Tope, Conger or Ray.
Great fun can be had fishing from the harbours for mullet
using a soft tipped rod and light ledgering tactics with a
worms or shrimp as bait.
